Pixel Code · by Pixel CEO

An agent that codes for you, in your terminal.

You type what you need — “fix this bug”, “add this feature” — and Pixel Code reads your project, writes the code, tests it and shows you the change before saving it.

$curl -fsSL https://code.pixel.ceo/install.sh | sh

One-line install. Then type pxc inside your project folder.

Using Pixel CEO? Pixel Code is the engine of your agents and shares its battery with them. See how

What it is

A coding partner that lives in the terminal.

>_

Works in your terminal

The terminal is the text window where developers type commands. Pixel Code opens there, no new editor to install.

{ }

Understands your whole project

Before touching anything it reads the files that matter, so its changes fit your code instead of being generic.

s/n

You have the last word

It shows you every change line by line and tests it. If you don’t like it, it is discarded and your project stays as it was.

What it’s for

The tasks that eat your afternoon.

Ask in plain English, the way you would ask a teammate.

Fix a bug

$ pxc "the invoices page crashes when the tax ID is missing"
Finds the cause, fixes it and adds a test so it doesn’t happen again.

Add a feature

$ pxc "add a button to export invoices to CSV"
Plans the changes, writes them in the right files and checks that everything still works.
CSV: a table file any spreadsheet can open.

Write tests

$ pxc "write tests for the shopping cart"
Writes tests for the normal and the odd cases, and runs them.
Test: code that automatically checks that other code does what it should.

Review someone else’s change

$ pxc "review pull request 42 and tell me what could break"
Reads the change, points out risks with the exact line and suggests fixes.
Pull request: a proposed change that someone else reviews before accepting it.
How it works

Three steps. The first takes a minute.

Install it

Paste this line in your terminal. The installer sets up the pxc command.

curl -fsSL https://code.pixel.ceo/install.sh | sh

With your Pixel Code subscription or your own provider account (BYOA). If you use Pixel CEO, the app does it for you.

pxc login

Ask for something

Inside your project folder, type what you need.

pxc "add search by name"

Bring your own account. Use your own provider account or key with the CLI. And use it your way: on its own in your terminal, or with the Pixel CEO harness.

Made for Pixel CEO

The engine of your agent office.

Pixel CEO is the app where you run an office of coding agents: every character is an agent working on your project. Pixel Code is designed to be their engine, the part that thinks and writes for them.

  1. 01You hire agents with Pixel Code as their engineIt comes first in the “Engine” step, with your battery in sight and a model to pick: Instant or Pro.
  2. 02The office splits the workThe coordinator hands out tasks. Each agent works on its own branch and in its own terminal, and you watch it from the office.
  3. 03One battery for everythingWhat your agents use and what you use in the terminal come out of the same battery. If it runs out, buy an extra pack.
  4. 04Installs from the appIf you don’t have it, Pixel CEO installs it and connects your account. No terminal needed.

Branch: a working copy of the project so agents don’t step on each other’s changes.

The Engine step when hiring an agent in Pixel CEO (Spanish interface): Pixel Code comes first, recommended with a subscription, with the Instant and Pro models, the 5-hour battery at 80%, the week at 92% and the Pro plan active.

The harness at work

This is how it works inside Pixel CEO.

CÓDICE · autonomous mode

For big tasks: it hands you nothing until everything passes.

CÓDICE is Pixel Code’s harness. A harness is what guides the agent: it splits the work into six phases and each one has to pass an automatic check before moving on. It works on a separate copy of your project and you sign off at the end.

An agent that only writes code

  • Hands you what it wrote, whether it builds or not.
  • You find the bugs later.
  • A mistake halfway through gets carried to the end.

With CÓDICE

  • Every phase is checked with real commands: build, types, style and tests.
  • If something fails, it repeats that phase with the error in view.
  • It won’t move on until the phase passes, and you approve the result.

Check: a command that answers yes or no, like “do the tests pass?”. Not another AI’s opinion.

Questions

What people usually ask.

Do I need to know how to code?

It is built for people who code: you’ll follow the changes better if you can read code. But every change comes explained in plain language.

Can it break my project?

It saves nothing without your permission. With CÓDICE it works on a separate copy and only hands you the change when every check passes.

What is CÓDICE?

Pixel Code’s autonomous mode for big tasks: six phases, each with its own automatic check. If one fails it repeats it; at the end, you sign off.

Can I use it without Pixel CEO?

Yes. The CLI works with or without the Pixel CEO harness. With the “CLI only + pack” plan you get pxc and your battery in any terminal; Pixel CEO adds CÓDICE and your agents.

What if the battery runs out?

The 5-hour one refills by itself. If you don’t want to wait, buy an extra pack: up to 3 per cycle.

What is BYOA?

“Bring your own account”: you can use your own provider account or key with the Pixel Code CLI instead of your plan’s battery.

Does my code leave my computer?

Your project stays on your disk. For each request only the text needed is sent to Pixel Code’s servers (pixel.ceo/v1), which run it through the model and send back the answer.

How is it different from an AI chat?

A chat gives you text to copy. Pixel Code opens your files, makes the change, tests it and asks permission to save it.

Try it on your project.

$curl -fsSL https://code.pixel.ceo/install.sh | sh

Then pxc login and give it its first task. Using Pixel CEO? Hire it as an engine.
